“School and Business”: a project within the framework of educational guidance that aimed to raise awareness among our third-grade middle school students of some aspects of the world of work and in particular of the local business community.
The initiative’s partner was Canale’s Vigolungo Playwood company, which kindly hosted us to gain a closer understanding of what a business is, how it is securely structured and organized, who works there, and what tasks they perform.
Very interesting for the kids was understanding how a plywood panel is born and formed, as well as appreciating the sustainable approach linked
to the recovery of wood waste for the production of thermal energy exploited by the company and the Canale district heating system.
A teaching and training experience that should be encouraged because it is rich in content, both for technical and scientific insights and to foster greater autonomy and awareness among students in future school and professional choices.
