This year too, our school has organized the giornate bianche (snow days) with the primary school children in Prato Nevoso.

These are highly valuable educational and developmental experiences — specifically trips to ski resorts, where children spend their days surrounded by snow, taking part in sports and social activities.

During these trips, the children are not simply on holiday, but take part in a program designed especially for them. Activities include ski lessons with qualified instructors.
The lessons are usually organized in small groups, based on experience level, to ensure that each child receives proper attention and can feel safe and supported step by step.

Skiing offers many benefits for children, as it helps improve coordination and balance — essential skills for our little heroes.
It also builds confidence and independence, as they learn to overcome their fears and achieve new goals.
It is excellent outdoor physical exercise that helps them stay fit, socialize, and make new friends, both with other children and with adults.

This is how the giornate bianche become a special memory: a different kind of school break, full of enthusiasm and discoveries… and a great desire for snow!
