Theatre could not be missing from our school career!

Well yes, once a week, throughout the course, of the year (for younger children twice a week) it is time for improvisation games, animated readings, role-playing games in English and Italian to know and develop our means of expression and get closer to the foreign language, while having fun.

Not a single project, but a curricular event, which wasn’t created with the aim of making children actors, but with the aim of offering stimulation and opportunities to get involved, including with the English language. Every year we organize a party/show before the Christmas holidays and a final show with which we participate in the city festival of Teatro Ragazzi at the Teatro Sociale in Alba (As 2022/23: “From 6 to 11: what a trip!”; As 2023/24: “It’s not a tragedy: let’s take part”), but there are many opportunities during the school months to party with stories, characters and music.

During the 2023/24 school year, we animated Roald Dahl’s stories, while in May we will try our hand at Greek myths to feel more and more like citizens of the world. The lyrics of the shows, as well as the sets, are often produced by us and the school band acts as our soundtrack. Who knows what adventures await us in the years to come: the best is yet to come!
